Recruiter visibility basics

Use the language recruiters search

Recruiters search by job title, skills and location. Use standard titles (e.g. “Financial Analyst”) alongside any creative internal title.

Turn on “Open to work” thoughtfully

You can show it to recruiters only, rather than with the public photo frame. Specify job titles, locations and work types.

Set your location accurately

Many searches are location-filtered. Use the city where you want to work and add remote preferences in “Open to work”.

Stay active

Commenting thoughtfully, sharing what you learn and updating your profile all help you appear more often.

Keep it consistent with your CV

Titles and dates should match your CV. Recruiters notice inconsistencies.
